The TREK 520 is a superb touring bike . Designed to face the rigors of the longest journeys and the most remote areas of the globe, it will take you anywhere in the greatest serenity. Built to last and withstand the harshest conditions, the 520 has a reinforced chromoly steel frame and an aluminum fork . Its geometry has been designed to offer maximum comfort, stability and reliability, day after day, week after week, year after year. Reliable and robust components have been selected to equip this bike. We find a Sora/Alivio 3 x 9-speed mix transmission , TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes and BONTRAGER Affinity Tubeless Ready 28" wheels built with SHIMANO M475 hubs and road bike handlebars for a very comfortable position. to go on an adventure, it is now equipped with front and rear luggage racks with platforms giving it a high load capacity.Whether you are a daily commuter or a seasoned cyclist and you are looking for comfort and ultimate resistance to rack up the miles, the 520 is made for you.

COMPONENTS:

SHIMANO Sora/Alivio 3x9-speed transmission . This transmission mixes road components and a mountain bike rear derailleur for increased robustness. It is both resistant and fluid to allow efficient gear changes. The developments are adapted to practice on all types of terrain thanks to chainrings of 42 36 and 26 teeth and a cassette ranging from 11 to 36 teeth.

TRP Spyre 2.0 mechanical disc brakes guarantee effective braking even in wet and muddy conditions.

BONTRAGER front and rear luggage racks light and robust they allow to transport maximum loads of 25kg each.

BONTRAGER Evoke 1.5 saddle for comfortable seating over long distances.

BONTRAGER aluminum peripherals (handlebar, stem and seat tube). The road bike handlebar provides a very comfortable position.

BONTRAGER Affinity Tubeless Ready wheels , solid and durable thanks to their 36 spokes and their SHIMANO M475 hubs, these double-walled aluminum wheels will take you anywhere without a hitch. Tubeless compatible, they can be mounted in this configuration via a tubeless kit not supplied, thus improving comfort and reducing the risk of punctures. Thru axle

BONTRAGER H1 Harcase Ultimate tires in 700 x 38mm section. They are the perfect link between your bike and the ground and offer optimal comfort and performance. At ease on the road as well as on passable paths, they are very versatile.
