Description

The TREK Emonda SL 6, shown here in Bordeaux red metallic and black, is a road bike that is synonymous with great lightness. Like the whole TREK Emonda range, this bike has been one of the lightest frames since its creation, with a featherweight of only 1091 grams! (without fork) The Emonda SL is built for the mountain from frame to frame. Everything is designed to make it as light as possible without compromising its rigidity and efficiency. While it shares the same geometry as the SLR models, it's built from a less complex carbon fiber (OCLV 500 ultralight) that makes it a few grams heavier but more accessible. In this SL 6 version, it is equipped with the latest SHIMANO Ultegra 2x11 speed transmission with BONTRAGER Speed direct mount concept rim brakes and BONTRAGER Paradigm aluminium wheels that are as light as they are durable. This incredible bike will make you love hills and is just waiting for you to conquer the summits!

FRAME:

Ultra-light carbon OCLV 500 series Ultralight frame (1091 grams!). A remarkably light and very rigid package that represents a perfect compromise between efficiency and comfort. BB90 crankset housing is very wide to transmit a maximum of energy. Maximum tire width 28mm.

Emonda H2 geometry Sporty yet comfortable geometry thanks to the H2 upper headtube. Reworked in 2018 to gain weight without losing responsiveness.

Very light and rigid carbon fork offering stability and handling. Direct mount bracket mounting. Only 313 grams!

E2 tapered steering sleeve for increased rigidity and stability.

Internal cable routing for a clean finish and better durability.

COMPONENTS :

SHIMANO Ultegra 2 x 11 speed transmission. It provides very smooth gear shifts and great lightness. Built with a compact crankset with 50 and 34 teeth chainrings coupled to a 11 to 28 teeth cassette to face any type of flat or mountainous course without any problem.

BONTRAGER Speed Concept rim brakes with ""Direct mount"" fixing system offering maximum integration and allowing the use of wide wheels and tyres (max. 28mm section). This system also improves braking performance compared to a standard caliper.

BONTRAGER Ride Tuned seatpost in light and rigid carbon, it contributes to the comfort and efficiency of the bike by providing rigidity and good vibration absorption. 20mm offset

BONTRAGER aluminium handlebar and stem including meter mounting and lighting. Lightweight quality components for a contained weight and a reasonable price. Their size is adapted to each frame size for optimal positioning.

BONTRAGER Montrose Comp saddle, with chormoly steel rails . Its rounded seat offers a large contact surface for prolonged comfort. Ideal for long outings.

BONTRAGER Paradigm Tubeless ready aluminium wheels that are both lightweight and durable, these wheels are optimised for wide tyres for improved comfort. Built with lightweight rims and high performance aluminum hubs, they are ideal for competition or training. Can be mounted in tubeless mode, for greater comfort by allowing lower pressures and reducing the risk of punctures.

BONTRAGER R2 Hard-Case Lite tyres with their 25mm section they offer exceptional performance and comfort. In addition, their reinforced carcass provides a good resistance against punctures.
