The Petzl SWIFT RL is designed for athletes who are active in the dark and need powerful lighting without multiple adjustments. The 2,250 mAh lithium-ion battery is rechargeable via USB-C. The stated charging time is five hours. The battery life depends on the selected mode and the power required: in REACTIVE LIGHTING mode, it can reach up to 70 hours in the lighting level designed to prioritise duration of use.
The headlamp also has a reserve lighting feature to help you continue your activity when the battery is almost flat. Actual performance varies depending on the conditions of use and the chosen mode.
