Its CORE rechargeable battery is included, reducing the need for disposable batteries.
With the CORE battery, the headlamp reaches 625 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 115 metres. The standard mode delivers 100 lumens over 60 metres for 7 hours. The economy mode offers 7 lumens, a 10-metre beam distance, and a battery life of up to 100 hours.
With three AAA batteries, the maximum power is 450 lumens with a 100-metre beam distance. The battery life varies depending on the selected mode and the power source used.
The 1250 mAh CORE battery recharges in approximately 3.5 hours. Alternatively, the headlamp accepts three AAA/LR03 batteries, not included. Its IPX4 rating indicates resistance to weather and water splashes, but it cannot be submerged.
The Petzl ACTIK CORE is compatible with the HELMET ADAPT and BIKE ADAPT 2 mounts, sold separately. It is not a substitute for regulatory bicycle lighting for use on public roads.
