The DT Swiss E 1900 SPLINE is a rear wheel for demanding MTB disciplines. Its robust construction meets the demands of enduro, technical trails, and fast descents.
This reference corresponds exclusively to the 27.5-inch rear wheel. It is equipped with a Shimano MTB freehub body, a 12 × 142 mm thru-axle, and a Center Lock disc mount.
The rim is made of aluminium to offer a good balance between strength, weight, and cost. Its design is adapted to the impacts, compressions, and lateral stresses encountered during regular off-road riding.
The rim joint uses a sleeved construction, or Sleeve Joint. This technique provides a reliable assembly while maintaining an accessible price point.
The 30 mm internal width provides a stable base for the wide tyres used in trail and enduro. It helps to properly support the tyre's sidewalls when the pressure is reduced to improve grip and comfort.
The external width is 35 mm and the rim height is 20 mm. This geometry prioritises stability and strength over aerodynamics.
The Hooked / Crotchet Tubeless rim can accommodate a compatible tubeless tyre or be used with an inner tube. The tubeless setup allows for lower pressure, improved traction, and a reduced risk of pinch flats.
