It is suitable for road racing, cyclosportives, triathlons, and fast training sessions. Its balanced handling allows it to be used on both flat and hilly courses.
The carbon rim has a depth of 50 mm, an internal width of 20 mm, and an external width of 27 mm. Its profile is designed to reduce the aerodynamic drag produced by the wheel and tyre combination.
The intermediate depth also offers a good compromise between inertia and responsiveness. The wheel remains sufficiently dynamic during changes of pace and climbs.
A front wheel directly influences the bike's handling when exposed to crosswinds. The 50 mm profile is easier to control than a 62 or 80 mm rim when gusts become irregular.
However, it requires more attention than a low-profile wheel, especially for lighter cyclists or during rides in very windy conditions.
