The DT Swiss ARC 1400 DICUT DB 50 is an aerodynamic rear wheel for road cycling, racing, hilly courses, and triathlon. Developed with the aerodynamic expertise of Swiss Side, it aims to reduce drag while maintaining predictable handling when the wind picks up.
This reference corresponds exclusively to the rear wheel. It comes standard with a Shimano Road 11-speed freehub body, a hub for a 12 × 142 mm thru-axle, and a Center Lock disc interface.
The carbon rim has a depth of 50 mm. This profile provides a significant aerodynamic advantage on flat terrain and at high speeds, without being as demanding as even deeper rims on climbs or in crosswinds.
This depth is a versatile choice for cyclists who want to use the same wheel for their fast training sessions, sportives, road races, and triathlons.
The rim features a traditional Hooked / Crotchet Tubeless construction. It can accommodate compatible tubeless tyres or be used with an inner tube.
Its internal width of 20 mm provides good tyre support and a volume suitable for commonly used road tyre sections. Its external width is 27 mm to promote a smooth transition between the tyre and the rim.
The wheel is delivered with its Tubeless Ready rim tape and a suitable tubeless valve. The tyre, sealant, and inner tube are not included.

This version is equipped with a lightweight aluminium freehub body for Shimano Road 11-speed cassettes. It is also suitable for cassettes using the same Shimano HG Road interface, subject to checking the transmission manufacturer's recommendations.
The cassette is not included. When installing it, the tightening torque specified by its manufacturer must be respected, and any necessary spacers must be used.
The wheel uses 24 DT aero comp T-head spokes. Their flattened profile helps to limit drag from the wheel's rotation, while their double-butted construction provides a balance between stiffness, weight, and strength.
DT Pro Lock nipples hidden inside the rim secure the spoke tension. This design also improves the overall aerodynamic finish.
