GOOSE DOWN FILLING TO STAY WARM
The Bettaforca jacket has an 800 fill power gray goose down filling certified Responsible Down Standard ( RDS ) by the certification body. Namely that the RDS label guarantees goose down from ethical, responsible and traceable sources, and that natural down promises you THE best warmth/weight ratio in terms of insulation. This down insulation therefore allows your jacket to retain your body heat and keep you warm in cold weather.
WATER-REPELLENT DWR FINISH TO ALWAYS BE DRY
The North Face has equipped the Bettaforca jacket with a woven 100% polyester fabric with PFC -free long-lasting water repellent treatment ( PFC -free DWR ). This durable water-repellent finish protects you from light showers without weighing you down... Perfect for peaceful and well-equipped hiking!
THE NORTH FACE : THE SENSE OF QUALITATIVE FINISHES
Cut in a standard cut, the Bettaforca jacket promises you optimal comfort during your hikes. Equipped with a full central zip closure, this piece allows you to modulate the ventilation as you wish. In addition, the Bettaforca jacket is equipped with elasticated cuffs as well as an adjustable drawstring concealed at the hem. Finally, secure, transport, and keep your essentials close at hand in its two zipped side pockets , and in its internal zipped pocket located on the chest.
THE NORTH FACE CARE TIPS
Delicate, down products require special care in order to retain their full effectiveness:
- Use a front-loading washing machine ONLY, and wash them in warm water with mild powder detergent (no bleach) on a gentle cycle with a slow spin. It may be necessary to repeat the rinse cycle to ensure that detergent residues have been removed. An extra spin cycle can help remove excess water. Do not pull the product out of the washing machine, lift it from below.
- Put your down product in the dryer for a long time on low heat. It is also important to wash and dry items individually. We recommend placing tennis balls in the dryer to prevent the down from forming clumps.
- If your down product does not fit in your washing machine or dryer, we recommend that you take it to a professional who specializes in cleaning down. It will make your life easier.
- If you don't have a dryer, you can dry your down product on a radiator. Turn it over from time to time to maintain the homogeneity of the down.
