Description

The TREK X-Caliber 9, shown here in yellow and turquoise, is a fast and responsive cross country mountain bike. Ideal to start competition, it is made for speed. This semi-rigid ATV has a high-end aluminum frame that is very light. In this version 9, it is equipped with high-performance and robust components that are all-terrain-proof. There's a SHIMANO XT/SLX 1 x 12-speed transmission, a ROCKSHOX Judy Silver suspension fork with 100mm of travel to provide the necessary damping and comfort on downhill and rough terrain, and SHIMANO MT401 hydraulic disc brakes to ensure effective and powerful braking in all circumstances. Available in 2 wheel sizes depending on the frame size, the X-Caliber adapts to the morphology of the riders. This racy machine, ideally suited for cross-country mountain biking, is equally at home on rolling forest trails and technical single tracks.

High-end hydroformed aluminum frame (Alpha Platinum). The hydroforming of the frame allows the thickness of the tubes to be reduced in the areas under the least stress in order to lighten the frame. COMPONENTS :

Transmission SHIMANO SLX M7100 1 x 12 speed. Double crankset (36 and 26 teeth) coupled to an 11-speed sprocket set (11 to 42 teeth) to pass all obstacles and climbs with the greatest ease. Shimano XT M8100 rear derailleur, very high precision for smooth and fast shifting.

Hydraulic disc brakes SHIMANO MT401 for powerful and efficient braking in all circumstances. Post mount.

ROCKSHOX Judy Silver Hydraulic Fork with 100mm of travel (80mm in size XS), ideal for absorbing shocks without weighing the bike down. It has a handlebar lock to lock and unlock the suspension according to the type of terrain without losing control of the bike.

BONTRAGER aluminium peripherals (handlebars, stem, seat tube) light and strong. 31.8mm diameter seat post allowing installation of telescopic seat post. Nylon handlebar grips with lock-on clamps.

BONTRAGER Arvada saddle with Chromoly steel rails. It offers a comfortable and sporty seating to suit a maximum of practitioners.

BONTRAGER Kovee wheels. With their double-walled construction, aluminium Formula hubs and 28 spokes, they are strong and rigid. In 27.5 inches up to size S and 29 inches for all other sizes. Can be mounted in Tubeless for increased comfort and reduced risk of puncture (Tubeless Kit not supplied). Compatible with 9mm quick release axles only.

BONTRAGER XR2 tires, with a 2.20 section, provide the grip and performance needed to go almost anywhere without losing speed. Their robust 120 TPI carcass offers good puncture resistance.
