THE QUALITY/PRICE CHOICE
With its known and recognized Marlin range, Trek offers tailor-made for 2022. With this version 4, the trail-loving cyclist will find all the useful responsiveness to pass the bumps and the flexibility of handling characterized by a Suntour fork and its 100mm of travel (80mm for an XS frame). The maneuverability of the Marlin is complemented by an important general robustness obtained with the aluminum frame Alpha Silver. This design makes the set clearly unbeatable in terms of price!
SHIMANO-TRANSMISSION
Dynamic and manoeuvrable, this machine has everything the ideal companion for beginners in mountain biking and tackling steep trails and steep slopes with maximum ease. For this, the Shimano Tourney transmission has 3 chainrings in 42/34/24 teeth which optimize the frequency of pedaling and ensure in the percentages. Thus, even on slopes greater than 15%, the athlete retains good flexibility and a high cadence. The 7-speed cassette is equipped with 14-28 sprockets for a gear ratio adapted in all circumstances.
ROBUST PERIPHERALS
The Marlin 4 not only improves performance, it also admits exceptional robustness. The Bontrager Connection wheels ensure exemplary longevity while the handlebar/stem set provided by the American brand offers a reinforced cockpit. In addition, mechanical disc brakes balance the power of the hydraulic system with the ease of maintenance of cable braking. On the scale, the bike displays less than 14 kgs, a coherent weight and optimized to the maximum for unique sensations in XC.
TO NOTE : Sizes XS and S are open frame, that is to say trapeze and have 27.5 wheels.
