The Sweet Protection Tucker III 2Vi® Mips is a high-end road bike helmet for cyclists seeking maximum efficiency at high speed. Developed with the expertise of a Formula 1 aerodynamicist and in collaboration with the Uno-X Mobility professional team, it excels during breakaways, solo efforts, and sprints.
Its low profile, truncated rear section, and rounded openings have been designed to reduce turbulence and limit air resistance. Tested in a wind tunnel and using CFD numerical analysis, it is particularly optimised for use between 45 and 50 km/h in a breakaway position.
The 2Vi® technology platform combines several solutions designed to enhance protection and comfort without excessively increasing the helmet's weight or volume. Its four-shell construction provides a close fit to the head and contributes to the precision of its aerodynamic profile.
Impact Shields are integrated at the front and rear to improve energy management in the event of an impact. The helmet meets the European CE EN 1078 and American CPSC 1203 certifications.
The Mips® Air Node system is integrated into the helmet's inner padding. It allows for a slight movement between the head and the helmet during certain angled impacts to help reduce rotational forces that may be transmitted to the brain.
This lightweight and discreet version of the Mips system preserves the ventilation, comfort, and low internal bulk of the Tucker III.
Air inlets at the front direct cool air to an internal structure of ventilation channels. The warm air is then quickly evacuated through a duct at the rear of the helmet.
This efficient airflow helps maintain a more comfortable temperature as intensity increases. The rounded shape of the openings also helps to limit turbulence to preserve the helmet's aerodynamic qualities.
The 360 Occigrip system envelops the head to ensure a precise, stable, and uniform fit. Its height and width can be easily adjusted, even during a ride, to adapt the tightness to the cyclist's preferences.
Compatible with tied-up hair, this system is suitable for different body shapes. Comfort pads also allow for a personalised fit for long-duration rides.
Integrated holders make it easy to store glasses when not worn. They are designed to work optimally with Sweet Protection sports glasses while keeping them accessible.
Removable Snap-On Aerocovers allow these openings to be closed during competitions. They thus preserve the continuity of the helmet's profile and help to further reduce aerodynamic drag.
