The lightweight double weave fabric with its unique zigzag texture is soft and warm against the skin but does not retain heat. Its face is durable and treated with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals) to wick away moisture. This makes the garment pleasant in cool weather and versatile in the face of changing weather conditions in the mountains.


STRETCH
The stretch fabric of the WS R1 Crossstrata Hoody Jacket is designed to allow a helmet to be worn over the head and provide a wide range of motion.


COVERAGE
Under-helmet hood is bound with soft elastic and provides coverage and visibility; a soft zipper with piping at the chin gives next-to-skin comfort. Sleek, low-bulk, snag-resistant cuffs are partially elasticized for versatile coverage.


MULTI POCKETS
The WS R1 Crossstrata Hoody features a secure left chest pocket with zipper, plus an additional pocket with snap closure. Two upper handwarmer pockets are also present. This jacket is ideally designed for wearing a harness and a backpack.
