With the release of the Wave Rider 26, MIZUNO offers a pair of running shoes that emphasize versatility for everyday runners under 85kg. This model is perfectly suited for running long distances with a neutral stride, thanks to a vastly reworked sole, more comfortable than on previous models.
+2MM SOLE THICKNESS
By equipping the Wave Rider 26 with MIZUNO Energy technology, the Japanese brand adds thickness to its shoe. This allows the runner to benefit from more cushioning and gain energy return. With MIZUNO Energy, flexibility and stability are also improved. The foam used is indeed denser and more resistant than the Eva foam found on other models.
THE WAVE PLATE FOR BETTER PROPULSION
MIZUNO has also made use of one of its technological classics: the Wave plate. Encrusted between two layers of Energy, the Wave forms a wave that improves stability when placing the foot, while promoting better propulsion in the resumption of stride.
ADHERENT AND DURABLE
Thanks to the addition of the X10 carbon rubber outsole, the Wave Rider 26 is a model of grip and durability. This material is particularly resistant to wear so that you keep your shoes as long as possible.

5eme paire de la série des Wave rider. A ma grande surprise, la 1ere course (12km) m'a occasionné une légère ampoule, mais les chaussures sont maintenant calées, prêtes à m'emmener 1000km. Toujours aussi confortable pour Marathon.
