When paired with your Edge® GPS bike computer, another Garmin device, or a compatible smartphone, the Varia RTL515 radar alerts you of up to 8 vehicles approaching from up to 140 meters away. This version of the Varia radar provides better detection of vehicles slowing down behind you than the previous model.

HAVE EYES IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD WITH VARIA!
Pair your Varia rear radar with the mobile app of the same name and you'll feel like you have eyes in the back of your helmet! A car approaching at high speed? Bright and colorful alerts on the screen attract your attention. And if you can't see your phone, you'll stay informed thanks to sound and vibration alerts.

DAYTIME VISIBILITY 1.6 KILOMETERS
The rear light is visible in daylight up to 1.6 km away and at an angle of 220° thanks to the LEDs located on the side of the device. Motorists can therefore see you from afar. And when riding in a group, the "peloton" mode produces a low-intensity flash that is appreciated by other cyclists.

SLIM DESIGN, EASY ASSEMBLY
Sleek with its slim, vertical design, the Varia RTL515 radar mounts easily to most road bikes. And with its new additional bracket, the Varia can now be mounted to “D” shaped seatposts, aero posts and round posts.
