The Cascadia shoe from BROOKS RUNNING, popular with trailers for years, returns with a new version:   The Cascadia 17 Gtx .
It continues the tradition of the first mountain trail shoe, offering exceptional stability, soft cushioning and protection from the elements. The latest improvements in this new edition are specially designed to keep you comfortable in the mountains, kilometer after kilometer.

ALL-TERRAIN COMFORT
The shoe offers optimal comfort on all terrains. The new Trail Adapt system combines three essential elements to guarantee better stability during your races:
1. First of all, DNA LOFT v2 cushioning, both soft and light, adapts perfectly to your body and the surface of the trail you take.

2. Next, an internal skid plate helps you adapt to the different terrains you encounter on your adventures.

3. Finally, strategically placed pods on the outsole absorb ground irregularities, providing you with additional stability.

GRIP AND TRACTION
To maintain your stability, the new Green Rubber TrailTack® outsole is made with 25% recycled content. It provides exceptional grip to tackle slippery terrain, steep rocks and any obstacle you may encounter on the trails.


SOFT CUSHIONING
Underfoot, DNA LOFT v2 provides soft cushioning that ensures long-lasting comfort, even on the most difficult terrain. This cushioning system, super soft but never too soft, is based on DNA technology, which adapts to your specific strides for a personalized and optimal running experience.


PROTECTION
The GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane is bonded directly to the upper of the shoe, providing a lighter, more flexible fit. This will keep you dry and comfortable, even in wet conditions.
