The MAVIC Cosmic Pro Carbon Exalith wheelset is an improved version of the essential Cosmic Pro Carbon with treated braking tracks to improve performance. Making aerodynamics accessible to everyone for several years thanks to a very competitive price, this pair of wheels initially intended for flat courses has undergone multiple adjustments and improvements over the years to make it a remarkably versatile model. Featuring 17mm wide aluminum hoops , assembled with 45mm high carbon flanges , these rims offer maximum aerodynamics for reduced weight. Their Exalith braking surface, recognizable with a matte black finish, gives them unparalleled braking efficiency. They are optimized for the use of 25mm tires and thus offer good stability making it easier to pilot in the event of crosswinds. The Cosmic Pro Carbon are made up of 16 and 20 straight aerodynamic spokes for an optimal compromise between weight, lateral stiffness and air penetration. The aluminum hubs are equipped with adjustable QRM+ and QRM auto sealed cartridge bearings as well as an Instant Drive 360 instant engagement freewheel for maximum smoothness. MAVIC Yksyion Pro Griplink and Powerlink tires complete this unique clincher wheel set and match perfectly with the properties of these wheels.
