Description

The CERVELO R3 Disc, shown here in matt black and white, is mainly designed for mountainous courses, whether in competition or for cyclosportive use. 16% lighter than the previous generation, it stands out with an impressive weight/rigidity ratio, which offers fluid piloting and instantaneous return of the transmitted energy! The R3 invites you to attack on the uphill and to push the pace on the downhill. You'll also enjoy a smooth ride, with tyres up to 28 mm wide and a frame that can absorb road vibration. The CERVELO R3 uses the same geometries as the Cervelo R5, but uses a more economical carbon fiber, making it a more affordable bike.

FRAME:

Carbon R3 frame. Extremely stiff and very light, this frame uses Squoval Max tubes, which gives it more rigidity and stability than the previous generation.

BBRIGHT Connect asymmetrical bottom bracket. Specially developed by CERVELO, this box allows a more rigid and lighter frame construction.

Tapered R3 carbon fork is light and stiff, and also brings great stability and handling to the bike.

Internal cable routing for maximum aerodynamics, a clean finish and reduced cable wear.

Tapered fork pivot for increased rigidity and stability of the front end of the bike. Headset FSA IS2 1-1/8 X 1-1/2"" headset

COMPONENTS :

Transmission SHIMANO Ultegra R8000 2 x 11 speed. Demonstrated reliability and very precise gear shifting. Compact crankset with 52 and 36 tines chainrings and 11 to 30 tines sprocket set to tackle any type of flat or hilly terrain without any problems.

Ultegra SHIMANO Ultegra Hydraulic Disc Brakes provide efficient and effective braking.

Cervélo AB07 Ultra light hanger.

The Prologo Zero II STN saddle has a flat shape that facilitates body movements on the saddle. This saddle is very effective on outings or competitions with a lot of ribs.

Wheels DT Swiss P1800 Spline Disc. The ultimate all-rounder, equally at home on flat roads and hilly terrain, they are both rigid and aerodynamic.
