The Quest jacket is the result of the alliance of two technologies: HEATSEEKER™ and DRYVENT™. While the first guarantees you constant warmth, the second is both waterproof and breathable. Elegant and sober, this jacket is also ultra compressible and therefore fits very small in your hiking backpack.
HEATSEEKER™ TECHNOLOGY TO KEEP WARM
The synthetic Heatseeker™ insulation takes up the crazy challenge of providing you with exceptional warmth without generating additional bulk and therefore remains very discreet. In addition, the Heatseeker™ synthetic fiber also retains heat perfectly, despite the humidity. Finally, compressible and resistant, the Quest jacket slips easily into a backpack or a suitcase... and that's good because it's very likely that you want to take it with you everywhere!
DRYVENT™ TECHNOLOGY TO STAY DRY
The seam-sealed, double-layer DryVent™ technical fabric is engineered to be waterproof, windproof, and durable. Also, the latter gives you the benefit of an impenetrable and insulating barrier against rain and snow; it ensures you stay dry, without overheating! Breathable and lightweight, the DryVent™ fabric also helps regulate your body temperature and overall comfort during exercise.
THE NORTH FACE : THE SENSE OF QUALITATIVE FINISHES
Cut in a standard fit ideal for your comfort, the Quest jacket has two zipped pockets in which you can slip your hands to warm them up. In addition, its elasticated cuffs, hem, hood, as well as the very soft lining of its chin guard protect you from the wind: so enjoy your outings in the great outdoors with peace of mind!
MAINTENANCE TIPS
We recommend that you wash this jacket inside out and close all Velcro® fasteners and zippers. In addition, we recommend machine washing at 40° C maximum and with similar colours. It is also wiser to wash this jacket only when necessary, in other words to remove dirt or smoke and cooking odors. Finally, to prolong the life of your Quest jacket, it is necessary that you renew its waterproofing treatment when you notice that the water is no longer beading as well as it did originally. To do this, all you have to do is treat the garment with a spray or a product to be added during the wash, all while scrupulously following the instructions given by the manufacturer.
