The MAVIC Cosmic Pro Carbon Exalith rear wheel is an improved version of the essential Cosmic Pro Carbon with treated brake tracks to improve performance. For several years now, making aerodynamics within everyone's reach thanks to a very competitive price, this wheel initially intended for flat courses has undergone multiple adjustments and improvements over the years to make it a remarkably versatile model. Featuring a 17mm wide aluminum hoop , assembled to a 45mm high carbon flange , this rim offers maximum aerodynamics for reduced weight. Their Exalith braking surface, recognizable by a matte black finish, gives it unparalleled braking efficiency. It is optimized for the use of 25mm tires and thus offers good stability facilitating steering in crosswinds. The rear Cosmic Pro Carbon is made up of 20 straight aerodynamic spokes for an optimal compromise between weight, lateral stiffness and air penetration. The aluminum hub is fitted with adjustable QRM sealed cartridge bearings as well as an Instant Drive 360 instant-on freewheel for maximum smoothness.
