The Assureur Reverso by Petzl is designed for multi-pitch climbing, mountaineering, or cragging.
This device allows you to belay a climber, perform rappels, and has a Reverso mode for belaying one or two seconds. The entire design of the device has been conceived for smooth rope glide, while the V-shaped braking grooves control its slowing. The Petzl Reverso also has a release hole to give slack to the second with a simple carabiner. Ultralight and compact thanks to an aluminium body, this belay device weighs only 57 grams and offers maximum durability due to a rounded structure where the rope passes, limiting wear.
