The new DT Swiss ARC 1400 wheels are now available in 62mm depth . DT has completely reworked the shape of its rim in the wind tunnel to make it as aerodynamic as possible. Thanks to its new VU design, it offers the best possible profile to face the wind whatever its direction . This new shape allows you to optimize the tire (from 25mm to 28mm recommended) / rim couple in the event of a headwind while providing you with a sail effect in the event of a side wind which will propel you forward. Spokes and hubs are not left out since you will find on these wheels the latest Aero Comp II spokes which also limit the drag effect as well as the famous 240 hubs in their latest version with in particular the Ratchet EXP engagement system ( 36 pawls) that will push your bike with each pedal stroke without weakening over time . These wheels are made to slice through the air on flat and hilly courses, with their 62mm profile they do not have the ability to relaunch the 50mm version but clearly gain in nervousness compared to the 80mm.
