The Hybrid battery case accompanies the light, holding either the supplied Silva rechargeable Hybrid battery pack or 3 AAA batteries (not included). This versatility allows the use of AAA batteries as a backup solution in the event of a dead battery. The case features non-slip surfaces and incorporates a red rear safety light for increased visibility. The Trail Runner Free 2 Hybrid comes with a 1.25 Ah (4.6 Wh) plug-in hybrid battery, designed for use with the Hybrid case. This compact battery is the ideal choice if you want to be truly lightweight. The battery has a built-in indication and can be recharged anywhere, using the included USB cable.

With the 2nd generation of Trail Runner Free, cooling has been optimized with a more powerful cooler that allows the lamp to produce up to 550 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining comfort and low weight.

The Silva Free headlamp's power cord is cleverly integrated into the headband, eliminating the cumbersome need for cables. This innovative design provides a feeling of freedom, transforming the experience into an even more comfortable adventure.

COMFORT
Despite the focus on technological advancements, we have not forgotten the importance of weight optimization. Every part of this headlamp has been compressed and the headlamp unit weighs only 61 grams (without batteries). The headlamp is perfectly balanced, with flexible adjustments and a flat, flexible textile extension that does not tangle. The headband is soft, but firm enough, with a silicone cord inside to stay in place.
