Abus locks: U, chain or folding padlocks

As Abus’ core business, it’s impossible to miss its many locking solutions for all kinds of vehicles and objects. But it’s in cycling that Abus stands out with innovative products to counter bike breaking, theft and damage. U-shaped padlocks, chain locks, folding locks, key locks or code locks – the solutions we’ve developed are many and always just as effective.

For e-bikes, VAEs and city bikes, the German brand offers protection for all types of riding. For maximum safety, use the Bordo Granit-X with its folding design to protect the front and rear wheels at the same time as the frame. The Abus SmartX is also widely used, as its connected system and integrated alarm are ideal for extended stops in town. Granit Power or Catena are better suited to long-term, solid fixings in a garage.

Abus helmets: Movistar’s choice

Because saving your head is (at least) as precious as finding your bike in the same place, Abus has become a master of bicycle helmets. Ultra-precise, lightweight and streamlined, they offer real answers to the most demanding riders, whether regular cyclists, city dwellers or relentless competitors. Among the wide range available are those used by Movistar on the Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix and World Tour races: the

AirBreaker

. Optimally ventilated, it features a powerful EPS shell and life-saving ventilation channels. With its aerodynamic shape and maximum stability, the Game Changer is ideal for fast racing and flat terrain. For city bikes, the

Pedelec 2.0

or the

Hyban 2.0

are the benchmarks.

Abus, safety for cyclists and bicycles everywhere

Since 1924, ABUS has been giving people a true sense of security. A quality German manufacturer, its products are characterized by high reliability and longevity, as well as relative ease of use. Abus is active in three areas: home safety, travel safety and building safety, and has acquired real expertise in cycling by developing a specific range of helmets now used by the Movistar professional team, among others. Satisfying the growing needs of users and athletes by offering a wide range of innovative safety solutions – that’s the primary made-in-Germany motivation of the company and its 4,000 employees!
