Cone deployment technology is inspired by our know-how in avalanche probes; it is an essential component of the robustness and deployment speed of our Z-Poles poles. Simply grab the handle and the top end of the stick and pull them each in opposite directions. The stick clicks into place and locks. Each rapid deployment cone is used to guide and position a section of the pole then to consolidate the junction when the pole is locked. Flexible protective tips cover the central Kevlar® cord of the pole when it is folded.
